A huge thank you to all of the marshals and officials who voluntarily gave up their day to sit on top of a tor for three or more hours and ensure the safety of the runners taking part. Their contribution is fully appreciated and their spirit and enthusiasm really make the Sticklepath Horseshoe a special event. Thanks are also given to the organising committee who put together a wonderful event and are already thinking about next year's race! Finally, thank you to North Dartmoor Rescue Group who helped to marshal and provide cover for Steeperton and Little Hound Tor to ensure the smooth running of the event - even though they had had a long, sleepless night before!
All profit from this year's event will go to local charities in the Sticklepath area.
We hope all the runners enjoyed this year's race and we hope to see you again next August for the 2018 Sticklepath Horseshoe Fell Race!
